On Nirvana Day, Buddhists will most likely meet, in either temples or monasteries, to meditate and reflect, though obviously this varies around the world.

In a Monastery, it is treated as a Social Occasion. Food is prepared, and gifts such as money or clothes are brought to give to others.

It’s a very important day for Buddhists as they can reflect on their own lives, and improve themselves so they too, can one day enter Nirvana.
